As we open multiple distribution centers through 2010, including a European site distribution channel, you?ll be analyzing demand for four regions, deriving inventory targets, forecasts and optimizing logistics to meet requirements. As our Irvine, CA-based Master Scheduler, your first mission after getting to know our people and products will be to assess and optimize how we use SAP. Ideal candidates will provide the company with SAP expertise deeper than what we now have in-house. Well count on you to effectively utilize its BW Reports and Forecasting capabilities, and execute high level development and implementation of our demand process. The position will hold strong appeal for those who love exploring large data sets, and can develop metrics, specifically on distribution, and then create the tools needed for continual maintenance of the processes established. Your ability to develop and maintain forecasts, and define site target inventory levels and safety stock values will be crucial to optimizing divisional revenues. Besides analytics, solid communication skills will be essential to interact daily with business directors, product line managers, operations and sales to identify changes in demand and ensure high levels of customer service/distribution availability.
